Our Response to COVID-19
A MESSAGE TO OUR COMMUNITY
Welcome, everyone, to our 2020-2021 season! While that was certainly a statement I was looking forward to saying in person, I am honored to introduce myself as your President for GGSS’s 48th Season. As a producer and theatre artist-turned law student, I am proud to call GGSS and its incredible community my home at Georgetown. It is a strange and uncertain time for the arts, no less so for a community organization such as ours. However, I am bolstered by a board of passionate, proactive leaders that have been working all summer to ensure this season will be one of engagement, connection, and bright times in the midst of darkness. We are proud to announce an innovative, VIRTUAL SEASON, which will allow us to continue growing our community and investing in the theatrical arts that are as vital and vibrant as ever. I promise to do my best to ensure the health of this organization and its members, programming a present for GGSS that will be best for its future.
That is why GGSS hopes to count on our community’s continued support—because if anyone understands that “the show must go on” it is you. GGSS is nothing without its incredible family of students, professors, staff, alumni, and community artists. Here's to a safe, healthy season full of new artistic endeavors for all. See you on Zoom!
